When life is busy, or all of your energy is concentrated on a particular project. It is easy to find yourself out of balance, not paying enough attention to important areas of life. Although it takes motivation and focuses if you want to get the job done, going too far can lead to intense frustration and stress. That’s when you need to have a “helicopter perspective” of your life so that you can bring things back into balance. This is where the Life Wheel (or the Life Wheel) can help. Often used by professional life coaches, it helps you look at each area of your life one at a time and gauge what’s out of balance. See how you are doing in your career in terms of income, responsibility, personal growth, career path growth, or anything else that matters in your business. You spend a lot of time working, so you want to make sure you have the right skills, prospects, management, ideas, and job positions to be happy in your career.

Here are some variations. There is no life like the life of others. It is therefore possible that different life categories will be included in the Life Wheel map for different individuals. It is important that the categories you choose to include provide an accurate representation of the important areas of your life.

That being said, there are several commonalities:

Health: In this category, you aim to measure your physical and mental well-being. So you can ask yourself questions like how do you feel? How often do you exercise? How is your diet? Are there any changes you’d like to make for a healthier lifestyle?

Job: In this Wheel of Life category, you start thinking about the work you are currently doing and assessing how satisfied you are with that job. Are you happy where you are, or do you want to take on another capable job in another field? Is your career path going to bring you happiness? Can it support the lifestyle you desire?

Personal development: This portfolio looks at how you are investing in your personal growth. Are you pursuing opportunities that open you up to new experiences and opportunities? Are you eager to learn new things? What are you doing to evolve and develop into the person you hope to one day?

Now you will evaluate your relationships with others. As you do this, ask yourself if do you feel these relationships are built on a good foundation? Do you trust the other person in this relationship? Do you support each other? Can you build ahead of a relationship that is currently in a positive direction? Do these relationships positively affect your daily life?

Society

Finally, Ways to use the wheel of life we come to society. In order to achieve a balance in the wheel of life, you must also fill your cup with social communication. This includes your relationships with friends and co-workers, but also your social schedule and how you spend your time. Perhaps you want to go into different activities while you are socializing or finding a new group of friends with similar interests.

How do you fill a life wheel?

Start with a template: To fill the life wheel, it’s best to use a realistic visual diagram. Some people try to use a spreadsheet or write it down as a diary entry with just text. A lot of value lies in being able to see the areas placed in front of you.

Rate each area on a scale of 1-10: For this section, you can simply write a number on a piece of paper or in the margin next to the wheel diagram. Think carefully about how each of these areas is today. Make sure you don’t write down what you aspire to be or what you think you should be. Here is an assessment of your position right at this point.

Fill out the wheel life diagram: The life wheel has growing rings from small in the center to large on the outside. 1 will be the center of the circle and 10 will be the edge. You will draw a dot for each of the 7 areas representing the number of points you gave it. From there, you’ll draw lines to connect each dot to the list next to it. This will give you a shape that shows where you are strong and where you need improvement.
